Amazingly, this is the only licensed dispensary in the city of Sonoma, California. Given that they have a municipality-granted monopoly, they could charge more at this store than their other locations, but they don’t. I appreciate that they set a fair price rather than “maximizing profit”. 

The store is clean and bright, the staff helpful and kind. I especially appreciate the blue “sale table” - where some products are discounted. It made me smile, reminded of the “blue light specials” at Kmart from my youth. 

It’s hard to believe it’s the only store in town, but if there has to be just one, Sparc is holding it down like a champ. 

Nestled into the corner of an outdoor mall on Sebastopol’s West end of downtown, this charming store has that zen spa feel. Everyone was super friendly and helpful at check in. It was easy and fast. 

I checked the drops for the store before my visit, as has become my habit. An unpressed hash from Nasha caught my eye in the recent drops. When I arrived, Anthony helped me find what I was after. In a flash, he found the hash! Guava Bomb Green Unpressed. He also gave me some really helpful tips about Nasha’s color brand scheme. He seemed really knowledgeable, but unfortunately the store was about to close so I cut the chit-chat short and cashed out. 

Though my visit was brief, I found exactly what I was liking for and enjoyed a lovely experience in a beautiful store I’ve never visited before. I’ll certainly visit again when I’m in Sebastopol. Maybe Anthony and I can continue our chat. 😀

What a beautiful store! Natural light and plants abound at this oasis of weed in Cotati. The location is super convenient, but feels almost rural. I heard a horse whinny when I got out of my car. 

The product selection is top-notch, as I would expect from a Jane dispensary. I had a delightful chat with Jason about the various flower offerings. He inspired me to pick up a jar of Peach Zkittles from Willow Creekside Farms along with some recently dropped Good Tide candy. I shared the buzz URL and was delighted to hear it well received. It’s fun to share the project and see people get excited about it. 

My visit was really so lovely, I look forward to seeing Jason, Cameron and the other kind people working at Jane dispensary. 

This store is the northern-most store in Santa Rosa, located in the Larkfield / Wikiup neighborhood community. Conveniently located near the Airport Ave exit from highway 101, I suppose this must be a favorite destination not only for neighbors but for people who live in Windsor and maybe even Healdsburg. 

This store has invested significant resources in security and it shows. The store looks typical from the outside, with a roll-down security door artfully incorporated into the door frame. The lobby is a seriously secure room. Metal security doors and a super thick plexiglass window are a bit intimidating, but necessary to prevent the store from being a target for break-ins. It’s completely understandable and appreciated that protocols for safety and security are followed here. This helps mitigate the “attractive nuisance” objections from neighbors and keeps prices down by limiting the store's theft liability. 

Redwood leads with concentrates, mostly in cartridges. Close behind is a fine selection of top-shelf edibles. All the leading brands were present, as well as some brands I haven’t seen anywhere elsewhere in Sonoma County. 

The staff were friendly, helpful and easy-going. I picked up a jar of Jokerz x LA Push Rocks sauce from Big Red’s Cannabis Co. 

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to RHA and will stop in again when I'm in the Larkfield / Wikiup area.

The expertise at Glass House comes through in the product. I got the smalls in a 14g pack - perfect for putting in the grinder - they already cleared out the stems for me. :-)

The bright and energizing aroma of gas hit me as soon as I opened the bag. The flowers are perfectly cured - yielding to the touch, but easy to break up and stuff into a bowl or grinder. 

I'm very grateful to the good people at Glass House Farms for providing such joyful herb - it's truly a pleasure to roll it up!

Ridiculously delicious! So clean, there's basically nothing left after the dab. This is primo-quality, next-level extract. I feel fortunate to have access to this!

The light show in this place is so cool! You have to experience this for yourself - the walls literally glow and pulse with colored light. So cool! 

Thank you Doobie Nights team for a warm welcome and a lovely visit. There was a “Kwik Zzzzs” demo happening when I visited, so I picked up a BOGO deal along with my “J for Andrew Jackson” challenge. For that, the budtender recommended a Fog City Farms “Shark Bite”.  This is a pre-roll covered in bubble hash. I’m so excited to try it!

Mercy is an undisputed industry leader in Northern California and this is their flagship store. Entering the lobby is bliss! The lobby is open and inviting and the entire wall to your right is windows to a super pro grow room. I find that just seeing the plants is calming for me, so I was off to a great start!

I strode up to a budtender and asked if he was up for a challenge. He agreed, so my simple “J for Andrew Jackson” challenge was issued: a personal recommendation for a pre-roll, out the door for $20. He pulled up one of my favorite strains from a favorite local grower: UpNorth’s NF-1. His second recommendation was for Lamb’s Bread from them, but I already have one from a previous challenge that I haven’t smoked yet. Plus, always go with your first idea, right?

Ok, wow. This is how corporations do weed stores.  Today was my first time being in any Stiiizy location. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what I would find - would it feel like a big box store with weed? I am happy to report that I had a wonderful shopping experience! I chatted with a couple people on the staff and learned a lot about how Stiiizy stores work. The selection is obviously primarily Stiiizy brand, but I ended up selecting a “Darkside of the Berry” rosin-infused pre-roll from CLSICS because I didn’t need a 2g joint. 😀

This store is tucked into a corner lot in Northwest Santa Rosa, visible from Highway 101 (“DISPENSARY”). Easy on/off to be sure!  😀

This store features a wide product selection, leading with concentrates, edibles and pre-rolls. The staff are friendly and helpful, but not pushy. I picked up an UpNorth Lamb’s Bread pre-roll and look forward to enjoying it when I get home.

Located in semi-rural Penngrove, off the Redwood highway, I found Down Under to be a small store with a big heart. Everyone I met was so very kind! Products are top-shelf, with some niche brands that can be hard to find elsewhere. 

While I was visiting, another customer announced that he had fifty bucks cash and wanted to get a vape pen, battery and pack of pre-rolls. It was like a game show, so I blurted out “fifty dollar challenge!”  The staff member helping him smiled and announced that she was ready for the challenge. A few minutes later, challenge satisfied, he left happy and we happily congratulated her on her success. She said “believe in me!” 😀 

My visit was absolutely lovely and I left with a brand of flower that I’ve been looking forward to trying but haven’t seen at a store yet. Thanks for a fun visit Down Under, I look forward to visiting again soon.

Nestled into an industrial park in the Roseland neighborhood in Santa Rosa, this store claims to be Santa Rosa’s premier cannabis dispensary. I had to see for myself, so I paid the store a visit. 

Thought I had died and gone to heaven! Check-in was fast, easy and friendly, including accepting my medical card. First, the store is absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean. When I asked about flower, the staff member I was working with excitedly opened the sample drawer and started laying out sample jars to smell. I showed him an order I worked up on BUZZ for two eighths of flower that recently dropped. His recommendations were absolutely SPOT ON! We had a really pleasant chat while I gave feedback on each jar. He used my feedback to guide his suggestions. I’m super impressed with the depth of his knowledge and ability to recommend so accurately. 

My experience was overwhelmingly positive - I look forward to visiting again and will certainly attend any event this store produces. I’ve seen video from Nathan J TV on Instagram and it looks like a block party!

On Santa Rosa’s hip West Side, this warm and welcoming store brightens up what would otherwise be a typical outdoor mall. The location previously had a drive through - maybe it was a coffee shop? There’s even a quaint patio area with tables and chairs (and no smoking signs lol). I prepared before my visit - looking at the latest drops, I found a new brand of candies that I haven’t tried - “froot” - claiming to be the “best tasting” infused gummies. I have to say I might agree after trying them - delish! The folks working at the store were warm, friendly, efficient and helpful. What more can I ask for? I enjoyed my visit and will visit again if I’m on the West Side. Thank you Aloha Aina! 

Affordable cannabis indeed! I bought an eighth for ten bucks and it was good herb! 

I bought this just because I was curious about a branded, packaged 3.5g flower for just TEN BUCKS. Said another way, an eighth is a dime bag now! I was pleasantly surprised - it’s sun grown, well-cured flower. It’s fairly fresh and tastes nice in a bowl. Overall, I’m impressed! And I love that they advertise it as “shareable” - I imagine that’s a reference to the bargain price point being easy on the wallet, so great for giving as a gift.  Grab one for a “bud”, take the price sticker off and hope they don’t use this website to check prices. 

Honey Butter Rosin Co. is a paragon of the industry. I love absolutely everything about this company - the products, packaging and even the messaging in the insert card (the photo uploaded with this review). I've never met these folks, but I would love to someday - I feel like they're probably super chill.

I remember visiting this store many years ago, before recreational cannabis use was legal. Thankfully, there is no longer a waiting lobby, the store is open and inviting. The staff on my visit were personable and helpful, especially with recommendations for products similar to my favorites. A short walk from the downtown bookstores and delicious local ice cream, the location is super convenient. 

This West-side store has a cozy city market vibe, with products nestled into every nook and cranny. Staff was friendly and helpful when I visited. Products offered tend toward edibles rather than flower. A wide variety of candies, drinks and other products are offered at reasonable prices. Check the product listing link for details. 

What a lovely store! Nestled into the Roseland neighborhood in South West Santa Rosa, this warm and welcoming local store offers a wide variety of products, including some of the very best top-shelf flower available in Northern California. I was warmly welcomed on my first visit, including a no-problem attitude toward my med card. I offered a challenge to the staff - "show me the dankest bud in the house".  The expert in house offered UpNorth's NF1 and I accepted. What an absolutely beautiful store! A paragon of retailers, the new location on Piner Road in West-side Santa Rosa is a destination as much as it is a store. Decor is an odd but pleasingly original mix of vivid floral art deco and taxidermy. That’s not auto-corrected! You definitely need to see it for yourself to fully appreciate it! Flower fans especially will enjoy the expertly-curated selection of top-shelf brands from Northern California.
